A solitary airplane in the desert. “Hot air” shimmering like a mirage seems the only perceivable sign of time. The “film” shows a hijacked airplane, the Landshut, in October 1977 in Dubai where it waited for two days with eighty-six hostages on board.
The half-hour sequence was digitally produced from a single film frame.
