FLAGS Fabric

2015 Photography series FLAGS Fabric consists of five large-format photographs of small handmade flags fabricated in the last days of World War II in Berlin. The historic flags were photographed in high resolution to render visible material characteristics, threads, damages, revealing how history inscribed itself into the fabric.
